Business Analyst

Alliance Telecom has an excellent consulting opportunity for a Business Analyst with good experience around developing requirements and process within a telecom service provider.  The project is to implement a credit-card processing system, so any experience in this area or point of sale would be beneficial.  This is a longer term 6 month+ consulting project in Denver, CO, which has the potential to extend or convert to direct hire.  A brief job description of required skills is detailed below.  

We are seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to help with a large project to implement a credit-card processing system (Vesta).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·      More the 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

·       Ability to write high-quality, verifiable, testable requirements.

·       Ability to understand and employ existing client requirements processes.  

·       Ability to perform quality reviews to ensure requirements are documented properly by others.

·        Full-lifecycle experience from project inception to completion

·        Significant background writing function requirements for systems implementations.

·       Ability to lead requirements elicitation activities / organize work (e.g. facilitate sessions).

·       Ability to maintain requirements traceability across the entire project lifecycle, using automated tools.

·        Capable of advocating for business interests with IT in requirements prioritization and defect prioritization decisions.

·         Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT), including test script creation, execution and signoff.

·        Experience with requirements and testing tools is preferred (e.g. Rational ReqPro, QC, DOORS, Rational test suite).
