Technical Architect - Event Management

Alliance Telecom Solutions has an excellent architecture consulting project in the Denver area.  We are seeking a Solutions Architect or Technical Architect local to the Denver area, with preference for experience around Event Management.  This Architect will focus on the changes that will impact interfaces between all new IT systems and applications.  For example, activations, ports, etc.  Below is a detailed job description for the exciting opportunity.

REQUIRED SKILLS:  

·        Minimum 5 years architecture design in Telecom.

·        Experience with Event Management would be a plus.

·        Strong ability to take structure and process and organize elements into logical structure to support new business and data process.

·        Experience in architecting, designing and implementing cross platform solutions in large enterprises.

·        Demonstrated experience in business application design, service-oriented architecture (SOA) and implementation projects for a large IT organization. Systems integration methods and technologies.

·        Experience with interaction with legacy systems and phased application integration.

·        Expertise and experience in lightweight, rapid development, agile methodologies.

·        Broad set of skills to create a solution that provides interoperability and efficiency, and a cohesive infrastructure to support the goals of the business.  

·        Experience deploying and supporting servers in a 7/24 production environment.

·        Excellent written, verbal, and diagrammatic communication skills.

·        Experience with Java, Middleware, TIBCO, BEA Weblogic, and/or IBM WebSphere is highly desirable.

DUTIES:

·        Deliver the framework for the Event Management platform.  This may include off the shelf products and some construction.

·        Create a framework that will facilitate the collection and analysis of metadata.

·        Define the boundaries of the project.  How far can they go within 12 Months?

·        Create a framework to collect information to allow them to move from a reactive, break / fix mode to a more proactive roles.

·        We are responsible to create all the modifications to their IT architecture to accommodate the changes resulting from these changes.  They are also implementing a new PMO structure and intend to create a new supply chain process.  

·        You will be responsible for assessing the changes to the systems including which systems and process will be affected by changes being made.  What are the impacts to the systems and what changes in the data interfaces between those systems will be required.
