Richard McFarlane, President and Founder of Alliance Telecom

Telecommunications Cooperative Association’s 2009 Wireless
Symposium. The event

Austin,
Texas
on January 7-9, 2009.

Technology Will Win and Why?”
He will present and then facilitate a panel discussion on
topics including the deployment costs, roaming opportunities,
technology migration paths, end-user applications, consumer
electronic devices, and business models of the two technologies.
Since
its founding in 1994, Alliance Telecom Solutions has provided
experienced functional and technical consultants to telecom
carriers in both the wireless and fixed line sectors.
Alliance
is working with clients to make the tactical business process
changes and to implement the
OSS
and BSS systems needed for the deployment of next-generation
high speed data networks.
“I
am delighted to have the opportunity to speak at NTCA’s
Wireless Symposium,” said Mr. McFarlane.
“Telecom carriers face an important decision in the
next year or two about their WiMAX or LTE deployment strategy.
I hope to share what we’ve learned at
Alliance
and shed some light on the pros and cons of each technology, and
I look forward to gaining insight from the companies attending
about real world strategies being implemented. I expect a lively
discussion.”
